About Us

Since 2009, R & F Communications has sought to provide Dickson County with the most complete coverage of local sports we can supply. Initially, WDKN 1260 AM and 101.5 The One FM carried only Dickson County High School sports but in 2012 we expanded our staff to cover Creek Wood high school athletics as well. Since that time our stations have covered two state championships, nine trips to the state tournament in Murfreesboro, and endless playoff and regular-season games.

Each week, in and out of season, you can hear Sports Director Colin Castleberry discuss local, regional and national sports on the RFC Sports Hour on Wednesdays at 6 pm and on the 1260 Sports Roundtable on Mondays at 6 pm.

Meet The Staff

Colin Castleberry – Sports Director

I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee and have highly enjoyed the short time I have spent so far in Dickson. Born in Knoxville, I moved to around a lot growing up but settled in Cleveland, TN around 4th grade before heading to Knoxville to go to UTK at 21.

As a little boy growing up in America, baseball was always my greatest passion, but that led to a deep love for all sports, so if you see me around town and want to talk some sports or just say hi, please do so! You can catch me calling Creek Wood football, basketball, baseball, and softball games on 101.5 The One and WDKN. Also, tune in on Wednesday nights at 6 pm for The RFC Sports Hour, and every Monday Night at 6 pm for the 1260 Sports Roundtable.
