Record 13 games played has Dickson County looking sharp early

Sitting at 9-4 with 2 early district victories has Coach Rodney O Parker and his Dickson County Cougars feeling very good.

A come from behind victory Friday afternoon 4-2 over Knights Academy was very telling.

This team this year has not seemed out of any game despite a few blowouts that haven’t gone their way, they have had a few blowouts of their own and found a way to win close ones.

This week will be their first real test though.

Facing Franklin Monday and Tuesday before hosting Brentwood Thursday, this could be the week that propels the Cougars into early season district title and beyond contention.

As I have said before, much like Creek Wood did during basketball season, Coach Parker and Dickson County baseball are playing anyone, anytime, anywhere and it is reaping benefits.

If, they can come out of this week 2-1 or 3-0, it will surely tell us the kind of season this team is capable of having.
