Creek Wood will travel to Dickson County on August 21st for their rivalry game to open the 2020 season we weren’t sure we would have.
There will, of course, be many guidelines to follow including all TSSAA and D.C.B.E procedures.
For example seating will be limited to 1,500 total tickets just as it was for graduations recently.
Also guidelines such as; masks must be worn at all times, you must have a ticket to enter, temperature checks will be administered at every gate, and all tickets will be sold prior to the game.
For more information see the photos included below.
A letter was also released by Dickson County head of schools Dr. Danny Weeks detailing all the procedures and guidelines schools/teams must follow this season.
It included; “Athletic programs must follow all TSSAA/TMSAA regulations and guidance, schools must modify seating capacity at events and specify certain seating areas within the venue, ticket distribution plans will be announced by the individual schools. Priority will be given to families
of athletes, cheerleaders, bands, etc, prior to entry, spectators must answer screening questions, and have their temperature taken. Anyone
with a temperature greater than 100 may not attend the event, spectators must wear facial coverings, spectators are not allowed on the fields/playing areas, restroom space will be limited and concession stands will be limited.”
With all that being said, be safe and know football will finally be played in Dickson!
